Shipping Instructions

Abbott Arms has a type 07 FFL and is able to accept firearms from anywhere in the United States.  Please read the shipping instructions below.

Before you ship your firearm please fill out the WORK FORM. Make a copy of the Work Form for your records and include a copy in the package you are sending. You also have the option to email us the filled in form at (chris@shopbettys.com). We will contact you when we receive your shipment and go over the work to be completed.

Payment is not due until the project is complete. At that time, we will email you photos of the finished product, and then set up a time to take payment over the phone or send an invoice through Paypal. You are also welcome to send a check (please allow 2 weeks for the check to clear). Once the payment has been received we will ship the project back to the address from which you shipped the project. There is no FFL needed on your end.

When shipping a firearm to us DO NOT put any markings on the outside of the package indicating what is inside.

USPS will ship Long-Guns. Handguns will need to be shipped through carriers such as: UPS, FedEx, etc.

Returned Insured Shipping charges: (additional charges may apply on larger, heavier firearms)

$20 – Handguns

$25 – Long-guns

Unless you include a pre-paid label with it.

It is your responsibility to comply with all federal and state firearms laws and shipping company policies when sending firearms. Please check your local laws prior to shipping. This only applies to parts designated as a “firearm (i.e. receiver, frame containing serial number)” or when sending a complete firearm.

Customer is responsible for shipping costs to and from Abbott Arms.
